Format

Tournament Format

  • Teams - 2 vs. 2
  • First team to 200 points wins
  • Double 6 starts the opening hand
  • Winner of each hand comes out
  • Losing team shuffles

Rules of Play

Teams - 2 vs. 2
First team to 200 points wins
Double 6 starts the opening hand
Winner of each hand comes out
Losing team shuffles
All remaining dominoes are counted when a player wins the hand
Come-Out Pass = 30 points
No Come-Out Pass points on the mandatory Double 6 opening hand
Come-Out Pass is canceled if the coming-out player’s partner also cannot play
Straight Pass = 30 points, when all players pass
Capicú = 30 points
Lowest remaining points wins lock, with ties going to the player who locked the game
Five doubles = Fold and reshuffle
Hands in lap once play begins
No teammate communication during a hand
Missed play or illegal play ends the hand immediately and all remaining dominos are counted for points
Tournament officials have the final decision on all disputes
